My thoughts on this are that leading means showing the behaviours that you would like to see in others, it also means doing what is necessary and not what you feel like doing. It often starts with small things – don’t feel too “good” to do a minor task. People will see what you are doing and emulate you over time (positive and negative – especially if you are visible in any organisation).
