Hello,
my name is Jonathan Bletscher. I started this blog to have an outlet for my passion to help others grow on their journey. During my career and in my private life, I received support from many great human beings on the way and if I can just give something back to one person, this page already fulfilled its purpose.
You might wonder why I write about the topics that are shared on this blog. They are heavily connected to my personal experiences, passions as well as career path.
Since 2005 (17+ years), I worked and still work in corporate IT. My career started with vocational training as a Software Developer and over time I transitioned into different roles from Service and Support, Consulting to managing Cloud Operations and later Cloud Architecture roles. In my current role, I am managing an organization with over 500 IT experts that develop and deliver cloud infrastructure as a service for high-revenue cloud businesses.
Aside from work I am heavily into fitness and pushing myself and others to get better.
I feel privileged to have been able to learn from so many inspiring people and want to share what could be useful for others. In terms of writing style, I will try to stay true to my personality which sometimes comes with tough love and unpolished edges.
